NIT.RED | 2016

In 2016, I took part in the Innovation for Change, an entrepreneurship focused program organized by Politecnico di Torino, SAFM (Business School of Turin) and CERN. 

My group was specifically tasked by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) to work on a solution to raise awareness about the impact of nitrous oxides as an important contributor to global warming.

Working as part of a team of 8 individuals, we developed an online platform for visualizing and monitoring nitrogen oxides emissions, and linking it to equivalent carbon footprint. We also generated ideas on how this monitoring could form the basis of a nonprofit organization that promotes low nitrogen footprint products using a certification process.
